Beethoven also read Sri Ishopanishad and Bhagavad-Gita , quoting from them, often, in his diaries; there were excerpts from both these works found amongst his papers after his death; conclusive evidence of a thoughtful, well-educated man, as if his sublime music wasn't enough!
